I have a senior colleague at my office whose father and grandfather sold some land to ITC near Tribeni, West Bengal, for the establishment of their factory. Not only were the sellers offered a generous monetary sum, but they also received 1, 000 shares of ITC. It is estimated that the current valuation of the stock is at least 30 crore rupees as of today! While it may sound like a fantasy, this account is indeed factual. 🤑 I myself have 10 ITC shares at an average price of Rs. 388. I wish to accumulate 10 more by the end of April, 2024. Thanks. One question mam. How does stake sale by BAT in the open market help ITC as a company to buy back shares ?
The stake sale by BAT will boost the bank bal of BAT and not the bank bal of ITC.

Very incisive analysis of ITC. This is one company that has consistently rewarded its investors over the years. Obviously its share value has taken a hit due to offloading of a huge chunk of its holding by Bat which holds about 20% of the stake. Fundamentallythe stock is very strong& is a good buy for long term investors
It will bounce back . As a former ITC investor I can vouch that its one of the best blue chip companies in the stock

Madam, can you please analyse if we should have personal health insurance apart from corporate mediclaim. Post COVID the premium has shot up by 34 percent for mediclaim. If such increase continues then it might be better to have a separate corpus in MF which can be redeemed after retirement as and when required.
