I just cannot justify the $600 price point PLUS a $10 monthly subscription cost. Knowing that they can (and will) raise the monthly cost later down the line completely kills any sort of motivation I have to get it.

I have one question, there’s no way possible that the kids could use apps on this thing like YouTube or brows the Internet? I don’t want to buy this display and my kids turn it into a personal kitchen tablet 😅

Does your calendar make a phantom click/noise about 4 seconds after to perform an action on the device? For example, you select the + to add an event and then exit/cancel out of it. Wait for 4 seconds, does it make a click noise?

If you have disposable money it’s good. But I just can’t understand why we NEED this. With so many electronics around I don’t need another. Makes no sense at all

Yeah it looks nice but why are they reinventing the wheel instead of trying to be maybe absorbed by Apple so I can just get my Apple wall pad Apple wall pad and I want it to be available in 65 inches 42 inches and 32 inches just like computer monitors it makes me think about getting a really large touchscreen laptop and having browsers open in four quadrants with my iCloud calendar on it weather website a weekly calendar monthly calendar and maybe into list for a shopping list all associated on the screen windows is not really friendly with iCloud websites but I know that they already make touchscreen laptops so could I buy a MacBook and a display/touchscreen input and then connect it to my MacBook and put it on the wall within the Apple ecosystem right by my thermostat or maybe have a couple of them a little one for the kids and I one for me and my wife NFL flag be always on and when somebody rings the doorbell like the front camera wall bring up or I’ll always have a display of my security system and I wouldn’t mind having a button that’s like privacy so if we do have somebody over I just walk over and press the privacy for the doorbell rings are automatically shifts to privacy mode
