I've noticed that some peoples freehand are decaying and some are not. So resort to this video for a 1 minute tutorial on how to do them correctly 100% of the time when building the base so that its done right. My apologizes!

I love building a base just to find out half of it decays if I don’t add double the TC’s it calls for

Guys make sure to connect the corner freehands or they will decay! Do this by putting a twig triangle on the inner side of the freehand and a wall or double door frame that will connect freehand upkeep to main tc 👍🏼

Edit: I made a Video to show you how to do it skip to 11:10 if you can’t place it then you did the freehand wrong hope this helps 👍🏼

I’ve spent a lot of time building this base in the last 2 months. In the corner honeycomb you have to place a half wall just right like in the other video he talked about and if it doesn’t work then you probably build it to close to the base

I know this is an old video but every time I try the corner comb when placing the frame it’s always “too close to wall” on the main base. I’ve followed the fix video too. Even tried placing it further away but never can get it

if i upgrade the core to hqm and want to upgrade the honeycomb to sheet metal, im not able to upgrade the honeycomb inside walls

Are those freehands connected to anything for upkeep?usually those freehands are connected by frames 79% and above. I didn't see any connection for it to any external or main base

Where will i find space for a base like this, its only ice lakes and shallow waters right? because my biggest problem is always to find a flat enough place, any tips?
