In the UK, the government's job retention programme, otherwise known as the furlough scheme, was set up to help companies whose operations have been severely affected by coronavirus. It keeps jobs open to try and protect the economy. But not everyone has been able to get access to.

In the UK we are luckier then most and very blessed, sorry for these people who have lost out. I wonder where all the money is coming from, our government keeps giving money out like sweets, billions here and billions there. How about making it 70% instead of 80% and give the people working an extra 10%. The people working need to be recognised more at this time. The years to come are going to be very hard people 😢

Well the furlough was great it changed to 70% now we are all getting made redunent. The have turned there back on the coach industry . Virtually all national express drives across the interer country are going . 100 at our depot alone . So it is the dole for me 1st September . Unless I can find a HGV 1 Job
