I work for a small Indian Tribe in Washington State! We are very aware of what isolation can do to us. We’ve been encouraging cultural classes — which as you know, to Natives IS art. We started right out talking about this before we were locked down.

If we offer classes (a cedar weaving class) we’ll hold the class outside and have the tables 6-10’ apart from each other. We’ll also offer an isolation room (in the classroom) for anyone with a compromised immune system and of course, our Elders.

I just thought you would like that story. I’m 65 and have been isolating for about 3 weeks. (About 90 miles away is the epicenter and you probably know Washington was the first state.)

I do believe art/culture is the way through this.

I appreciate all that you do for us. You work hard. And you give so much!

I LOVE this dresser DEBI! 😍 I need those stencils now. It’s funny that you were talking about vanity and then I get a commercial about wrinkle cream 🤣 I need to try those lashes now too. I hope to be able to make a purchase from your online shop soon. We have been impacted a little bit by the shut down so finances are limited. Hopefully this will all be over soon. I enjoy all your videos so much. I’ve tried a lot of your techniques. Started painting furniture when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. In the midst of this crisis and now the Covid your videos both inspire me and make me laugh. Me and my mom have been watching together during treatments or travel. You’re amazing. I love your designs!! Girl, you’re not vain. Angles are important. I think most ladies feel you in that. My best eyelash thing is tinting and curling from a pro. It lasts about 6 weeks. I pay $100, I think. So worth it. You don’t even need mascara. It takes about an hour.

Debi, you are amazing. This dresser is wonderful. An artist friend of mine always says "use your stencil as your guide". And you did exactly that. You also worked with what you had. I don't think enough people do that. Instead of searching for exactly what you "thought" you needed, you made the stencils work. By the way, I remember not that long ago how you were soooo nervous about going live in the Youtube group. Now look at you going live every day. You Go Girl! I am slowly recovering from abdominoplasty. 7 1/2 years ago I had gastric sleeve surgery and lost 80lbs and over the past year I lost another 18lbs by simply eating less. So it was time to get the extra skin removed from my abdomen. Recovery has been slow but little by little I'm moving around a bit more everyday. Hopefully this weekend I will get to mess around in my studio. ❤️-Donna

I have a large dresser that we use on a screened porch to store blankets, placemats, and some seasonal decor items, and this video is inspiring me to do something with a botanical, maybe tropical?? vibe. 🌴🌺🍍

Beautiful piece. So clever using the small fern stencils to create large ones. I would never have thought of that. Plus using chalk to smudge the background was also a new idea that wouldn't occur to me. Thank you for sharing your techniques so generously. Not being able to sleep sometimes has it's perks...like seeing your video pop up at midnight! You are always entertaining and inspiring to watch. I never would have thought to rub that piece with chalk but it turned out to be just the thing! I am a parole officer and my husband works at the prison in our area. We are both considered essential personnel and are still going to work. We have also just purchased a house, so on our days off we are getting the garden in order for spring. I am also creating a backsplash out of resin and beads/trinkets etc. I love the idea that creativity is a survival instinct!

I love it! Phytoremediation is what the world needs. Clean the air, clean up the 🦠 and let’s all heal. Of course I love this is chic and Debi! I am now using the magnetic lashes. But as soon as this is all done it’s back to extensions. Because I don’t like how long it takes to put the eyeliner on and I am not good at eyeliner. Zeb laughs when he watches me try. Love you!!
