Those stories are literary. One is meant to place oneself in the figure from the story as if the character represents a state of being or a stage through which one passes while living. We are all Moses within a certain context and that is the point of the stories, all of them.

Christ was a man. He died on a cross. He also represents a state of being in the life of all men. Literary is not literal. There is a big difference there that must be respected if one is to benefit from the readings.

If you want to understand the Bible better than these two guys, as much as they are trying to help, try Neville Goddard instead. He taught me to read my Bible more properly.

Societies and cultures have misrepresented Yeshua bin Joseph, who is the Christ, for their own gain for far too long. Take it to Neville. You’ll see their lies soon enough to make everyone happier.
