I needed some string lights for the backyard and did a small amount of research into the market offerings. I found there are multiple offerings, in varying qualities and features, of essentially the same(ish) product. It makes sense though, how different can string lights really be from each other? It's basically an extension chord with light sockets built into it.

The one product I found to be the best, in my opinion, is the Costco product. It seemed to have the longest length with the most bulbs per foot and seemed to be heavier duty than most all at a pretty good deal (when on sale). I purchased 2 sets while they were on sale knowing full well that I could return one or both if I didn't end up liking or needing them.

However, as you see in the video, I unbox, install and review this set and I really like them. So, I'll be keeping at least this one box. Not sure where I could use the other box yet. Comment below if you have a good idea about where to use them!

I bought 3 sets of these almost 4 years ago. I have them on for 6 to 8 hours every single night (on a dusk + X hour timer). All 72 bulbs are still working fine after four years (10, 000 hours or so)!

I would have saved frustrating hours if I'd seen you video first. Needed to string lights on a 50' fence along an outside staircase. Bought a set of 15 lights on 50' of skinny wire, difficult install, insufficient illumination. They're going to our grandson for decoration. Neither Amazon nor Home Depot provided information adequate to make an informed decision. With your video I located Feit on Amazon and ordered a string like yours.
