It's pretty obvious what happened, you don't strip a car down for an insurance appraisal, you do when your nicking parts tho, I bought about 6 or 7 vehicles from Co part in lock down as they were the only auction trading, I got ripped off on every one, worked hard on then and probably lost, a bike was supposed to be cat N (non structural) the frame was broken, a golf had no brakes and no clutch, the delivery driver was laughing, fees and delivery were very high too (very high) I wouldn't advise anyone to buy from them.

the purchaser of the damaged vehicle has been defrauded and that fraud must have been done by someone with specialist knowledge and tools. outrageous.

One of the businesses mentioned has recently suggested that they are having trouble with being supplied with parts from AM.

Excellent video well done
People they don’t understand when a car is smashed the impact is transferred to the rest of the body,
And to know that you bought a total loss car the feeling,
And plus the insurance company might not want to insure you
And if you want to sell it people will run off ☠️

"he couldn't get ahold of Bamford Rose". Yup, that's pretty typical. I tried every method (email, their forum, other forums, Facebook, YouTube, etc) other than telephone for months (I'm several timezones away on the west coast of the US) and never got a response. The closest I got was a response to a YouTube comment I made months later in a YouTube video. I wanted to buy some of their parts, but that seems extremely unlikely

They had to strip out the gearbox for the insurance appraisal?! That bit wasn’t damage and so no need to remove to establish total loss. I don’t know Copart but could you really take out a gearbox from a car on their site without people knowing …and replace it with another you’d brought…. The car went straight from Bamford Rose to Copart. It’s pretty clear what the most likely explanation is

I have just watched the Crashton video that features the car in question at Bamford Rose. As I understand parts were removed but replacements were left in the car, It’s not that hard to work out, hardly a job for Quincy . I won’t be taking my car to Bamford Rose .

only one party in that chain has access to lots of broken aston parts, access to the vehicle with a remit to tear it down and supply chain issues. pretty clear whats happened here IMO

A lot of valuable parts have gone missing and it is glaringly obvious where they have gone to me

Bamford Rose goes on about the owner of McGurk going inside for PCJ when it seems they have been nicking parts from a customers car themselves lol.

I am the previous owner of this car. I do not appreciate being considered a possible thief of any parts - the car was really well maintained and complete whilst in my ownership.

Bamford rose are garage that take parts off a car....makes sure they go with it or init or you finish up with a load of crap laying around....unless your stick them on Ebay asap from your other garage...

If as you say a courier driver could have stolen the parts by taking the car home to steal parts, then surely that companies driver's would be tracked by GPS. Unless he's self employed. If he is GPS tracked then the company who employ him will be able to trace his route for that day.
