I know of a few people who moved to Florida a few years ago and came back up North.

As a former Floridian, everything said about Florida in this video is true except for the part about a thriving cultural scene. Unless you’re in miami you can forget about culture. Florida is now a very expensive state to live since 2020. If you’re thinking about retiring in FL you better have some serious $$$

The place is too hot during the summer. If you can effort to lose the house/value, then do it.

$115 to $125 electric bill in Florida? Are you smoking crack??? I live in South Florida in a 2 year old 2, 000 SqFt house with a pool, hottub and a new 4 ton 16 sear A/C unit. We keep our thermostat on 75 during the day and 73 when we sleep. My electric bill this month was $450! Lowest electric bill I’ve ever had was $380!!! WTF???
