Have fun with the new piano. I still have my 25+ yr old Roland. I took piano for almost 10 yrs. My mother was a voice and piano major; so somebody was always playing. For years, the piano was right below the stairs. When she thought we'd slept in too long on Saturday, she would play the Star Spangled Banner and sing it in her coloratura voice. That'll get you up!
Have fun. I went back to playing after a long break. I found there are plenty of YT tutorials that can help you improve your playing at any level. There's also a variety of downloadable, inexpensive, sheet music, if you can read music.

How do you guys feel about the standard weight? I tried getting a weighted different brand, and it was weighted so hard that it gave me wrist pain, I had to send it back and buy a partially weighted one, which sadly was much lesser quality. I am not happy with what I currently have and am really interested what you think about this. I'm arthritic (Marc is too, right?) so this factors into my choices. I really want a better piano lol!

Wait you got a different Keyboard last year. Are you collecting Pianos? I hated playing recitals! I did enjoy being a keyboardist in a rock band. We played 80's music. We expect a YOUTUBE RECITAL IN DECEMBER 2024.
