If Nissan was smart they’d stuff that twin turbo v6 in the Altima to give it a good send-off. That would sell out🤣

So Nissan would rather go bankrupt instead of giving people what they want, a real transmission. Sounds exactly what Nissan will do.

Kirk. I’ve been following you since you were selling Lexus’ in Omaha! I currently own a 2022 Altima SV all wheel drive model and have no trouble with mine! I did own 5 different Camrys prior to trying an Altima. I always appreciate each of your videos! Mark in Iowa.

I'm going to hold on as best as I can to my 3.5 6-Speed manual Altima, that is a fun semi-sporty sedan, I would almost fight my life for it!

I'll be keeping my 2017 maxima 3.5...might have to go with infinity v6 turbo or Lexus v6. Its a shame the v6 is going away. Nissan called and asked if I wanted to trade my car in..i told them no way. Not trading in a tried and true dependable engine for the newer crap.

Nissan for the longest time has nothing outstanding compared to their competitors. Even being cheaper cannot out do their CVT's infamy.

A shame more people didn’t opt for the 2.0 VC-Turbo. It’s just as efficient as the 2.5 but way more powerful! My 19’ just turned 6 years old and is about to hit 70k miles. Only real issue was the washer fluid sensor around 12k miles it’s been solid.

If Nissan wants to stick w/ CVT, they need to abandon the Jatco janky setup and do an eCVT either like Honda has implemented it OR like Toyota has implemented it (planetary gear set setup).

never would’ve been comfortable owning that VC turbo

Camry remains the king and class leader of mid size sedans like always 👑🤴👑. Overall only serious competition to the Camry is the new sonata and K5. Now that that accord and Altima is dying a slow death.

Anybody else remember the Altima SE-R from 2005 where you could get a VQ35DE with a 6-speed manual?

Can't wait for more Camry videos! Especially the LE. Absolutely loving my LE with convenience package

I’d spend the extra money for the Camry, For the extra money there’s a pretty good chance Toyota will be around, I can’t say the same for Nissan especially if the car needs service, repairs + parts + recalls.

No worries, we will have BAEs (Big Altima Energy) driving them for the next two decades weaving through traffic at 120 MPH on a base Altima with missing bumpers and broken windows. Kinda missing those Altima folks in the PNW, here I get Big Outback Energy instead.

It's because of the dumb SUV trends of customers who don't know any better but to buy an SUV.

Nissan is wasting their VC-Turbo and NEO for an normal 4-cylinder engine and electrification.

Nissan is totally dead because US they still didn't E-Power(Hybrid) models that caused their sales down as well of killing their most affordable sedan Versa and midsize Altima.
