Secret Advanced Knowledge of the Mayans

The Mayan were a super intelligent and very mysterious group of people. There understand of our universe and the movements of the bodies within it were so precise we haven’t been able to replicate their calculations until the very recently. But they claimed this knowledge went back thousands of years and was passed down to them from gods. Unfortunately all but 4 of the mayans many writings and scripts were completely destroyed by Spanish monks in the 16th century. We will never know what was in these texts but the ones that survive show us how advanced their understanding of astrology and the movements of celestial bodies was. But where did they acquire this knowledge? Could the Mayans be descended from an advanced lost civilization? The aztecs tell us they came from a great city on an island in the middle of a lake. This city was called aztlan. An eerily similar name phonetically to the lost city of Atlan-tis the sunken city from greek and egyptian histories that was named after the son of Poseidon, Atlas.

Hi, there are a few things I’d like to explain as Mexican, good vibes but can be interesting, first the Pyramid you showed at the start of the video isn’t Mayan it’s from the lost culture “Teotihuacanos” named after the city “Teotihuacán” and that name was given by the Aztecs who discover the city already abandoned, but because of the lack of information about it, Aztecs believed that place was built for gods, calling it “el lugar donde fueron hechos los dioses” or place where gods were made.

The Aztec City in the middle of Lake Texcoco was named Tenochtitlan, not Aztlan. That is now where Mexico City is currently located. Aztlan was the region that the Mexica considered their territory. It ranged as far south to Chiapas and as far north as Sonora and even into what is now the southwestern states, AZ, NM..

That pyramid showing in the beginning wasn't made by mayans. That pyramids was part of the Aztec empire, yet the pyramid of the Son and moon were already there before Aztecs created their empire

Those purses everyone talks about and wonders what they’re for, I have a theory that they’re just buckets for measuring water. It’s amazing how people don’t realize how the metric system is tied to water and makes you wonder why it’s kept from people in the US. There’s a reason why a liter of water weighs weighs a kilo, and if you were to shape it into a cube the faces would measure 10x10 cm.

Ah the Spanish destroyed stuff during colonization here too? Well at least the Maya was able to leave visible traces. My country's pre-colonial ancestors' relics and culture were all decimated to oblivion. Only the oral stories remain.
