Russia says it test fired Yars nuclear ballistic missile

Russia's Defence Ministry said on Friday (March 1) that it had successfully test fired a Yars intercontinental ballistic nuclear missile, state news agency TASS reported.

Russian defence ministry said that the missile was launched from Plesetsk cosmodrome in Northern Arkhangelsk region and hit the target region at Kura firing ground in Kamchatka.
