Today I'm assembling the all-new Weber Searwood Pellet Grill and doing the burn-off. The Searwood is replacing the popular but flawed SmokeFire, so I'm excited to see if this new design fixes the issues I had with that smoker. I'll also go through my first impressions of this smoker before jumping into our full review in the next few days.

Just bought my Weber Searwood 600 today. Their video wasn’t clear about the burn in and this is my first pellet. Thankfully I found your video which gave me the details I needed!

I noticed the lid down as well. Interesting to see that it is meant to be that way. I thought it was a great video and hope I get to see the rest of the reviews on this unit. Cheers from New Zealand.

I like the fact that when you’re in shutdown if you change your mind you can power it back on again and it picks up temperature from there without having to wait for shutdown to finish

Did mine all by myself last night took me about an hour and a half ! That tray is tricky you can’t have them too tight till they are all in there ! Look like you are doing a good job raising them boys ! Look strong as shit 😂

Looks like a pretty nice little pit, Ricer! But after putting in my time with cookers, the Wife just gave me the "Go Ahead" on a new drum smoker or the LSG 20x42 Pellet. Id really like to try a drum but I'm sure with your past experience which way I'll go!!😁 I appreciate the videos, Brother!!

On the higher temp it looks like it puts out a good bit of smoke, look forward to videos on future cooks on this smoker.

Definitely subscriber… Great videos!! Have mine coming soon. Question for you if you get it… Can you use this thing outside in the winter and if so, if it’s covered over well, can you leave the pellets in it or should they be drained after every use because of the dampness maybe? Newbie here so your Chanel is giving some valued information 👌 thanks gain for any info you can provide. ))

Always wanted to buy a smoker however, if I buy this one, I may need to borrow your boys to set it up, great stream as always.

One question please: Does this “Weber Searwood Pellet Grill” replace the Smokefire?
Or to put it another way: In addition to grilling, can you smoke with the new Searwood just as well as with the Smokefire?

Got way more info out of this than Weber’s start up video
