It's not specific to duke 125 infact all duke series may face this issue. This is because it works in very high compression ratio so the chance of engine failure in dukes is common

1st thing you should never take a street bike to long rides. A 125 cc is supposed to cruise only below 70s not more than that. Also the engine oil level is clearly visible if u have checked it. Periodic service maintain pannanum. Most importantly once you changed your engine oil it wont show up smoke with bs4 + engines like the old bikes. Because the cat converter is better engineered to restrict any typr of smoke to be filtered out before exiting the exhaust. I feel bad for such things happening to u thambi. Just consider it a lesson of not trusting the service centre guys and give importance to your intutions. I've been a owner of an rc200 for 6 long years now. I know what all kinda scams the service center guys do. Unless otherwise u have a whole service center with trusted guys or friends working, its obvious that we'll be scammed . Hope this incident will let you learn alot more about bikes so you'll know what kinda problems will lead to what kind of situations.
