That wasn't a mistake by ign. Lies of P was first shown on the xbox showcase a while back and its even going straight to Gamepass! The person editing the video knew exactly what they was doing!

That was not a "Mistake by IGN".

IGN has a history of this, youtubers have called them out and chronicled years of "Receipts" of IGN unapologetically slandering XBOX in tbis same manner.

This is one of the reasons I do not trust Metacritic. There are other sites that do this exact same thing and hold 3x the weight in Metacritic and GOTY voting. XBOX should stop showing IGN and other sites favor.

It's not a mistake.. Sony consistently pays for advertising rights to games. Doing this allows them to create the idea that the games are exclusive to Sony. Is a damage is already done. Correcting it now doesn't do anything but save face. Somebody over at IGN already earned their money.

It is pretty laughable for IGN to leave Xbox off when Xbox has the marketing rights to Lies of P. You cannot convince me that isn't intentional. That or it is some of the worst journalism you will ever find.

Leaving the toilet seat up is a mistake; this is a "journalistic" outlet not doing the bare minimum in research and due diligence that should be expected of any news agency. IGN knows the damage is done. They know, by the time they correct it, countless people would have already reviewed that post and those people aren’t ever coming back to it.

For me to believe this was a mistake, I’d have to also believe this could have just as easily happened to PlayStation. Not likely.

I noticed that IGN doesn't really like Xbox when they started the console watch shows. Only one of them really speaks with no hatred in his voice about it. The rest you can tell they aren't interested in it.

The mistake from IGN falls directly on the news/media editor (s) and their team (s).
Those people definitely know better to double check, verify, and source their work.
Media bias was in play here.

It would be nice to have the ABK aquisition complete in the next week or so, followed by a big Gamescom2023 Xbox presence and then Starfield for: Bangers Back to Back to Back 👍

I know not everybody will believe it to be the best way to go but I think MS should be inquiring with their legal team about IGN and the impact they may be having on Xbox. I guess there may be nothing illegal about ommissions but it should also be made clear to the consumer that IGN has a bias and cannot be trusted to provide accurate or full coverage of the gaming industry. If I go to a Playstation, Xbox, or Switch focused website I know what to expect. If I go to a website that just blanket says gaming I expect balanced coverage across the gaming platforms. I don't know anyone else's thoughts but I think MS should do something to make sure they aren't being underminded by a company that presents themselves as balanced.

Most Ubisoft games are also FPS Boosted on Xbox. If you play watchdogs, AC series or OG The Division most of them are running on 60fps
