Why does it feel easier to read the comments than watch the dang video?

Brain started wandering and stopped listening at 3 minutes lmao I love how all of us with ADHD can’t even pay attention long enough to understand our brains

I was really focused with this video. Then I searched for a song cause I felt the need. Then I was thinking about a different song and band on my head and started to imagine a concert from this other band. Then I was, "what I was doing? oh yes, I was watching this video" I have 14 tabs opened on my search bar right now and they'll be come 30 in a few minutes.

Adhd and add have recently been categorized into one term- adhd. the term add is no longer used. Thought I’d let you know. Adhd just presents itself differently person to person

Dude the ADHD subreddit is the best thing if found recently, like so many people to relate to and truly understand how to deal with this condition

We DO play close attention and concentrate, we really try. It's just that 2 minutes later the information has disappeared down one of the black holes in our brains so it SEEMS like we didn't bother to listen.

Finally about to get on stimulant medication after fighting this without it for 25 years. I will give back in the adhd community once I’m successful enough to help

There are actually three types of ADHD/ADD.
1. Combined Type. This is the most common type, and it is where an individual is both inattentive and hyperactive.
2. Inattentive Type. This is also fairly common. It is where an individual is inattentive and has a difficulty concentrating, but does not have hyperactivity. This type is usually called ADD, which stands for Attention Deficit Disorder. It's like ADHD, except the person is not hyperactive.
3. Hyperactive Type. This is the most rare form of ADHD/ADD. It is where an individual is hyperactive, but does not have a difficulty focusing or inattentive tendencies.

also wanted to add, hyperactivity is not from the body ! hyperactivity stems from the brain, and that's what moves around so much. in more severe cases, the hyperactive brain will make the body hyperactive as well ! basically what I'm saying is you don't have to fidget all the time or always be moving or something to have combined type !
