If you missed the card at the top right of the screen, the playlist for all the other beginner friendly guides is in the description as well!

In-faction conflict handling and cross-laugange communication is another skill for the leadership.
Without a peace-prioritized policy and dedication to difficult negotiation when facing laugange barrier, sometimes leads to civil war...

THANK YOU. I don't think people realise just how significant leadership is in Foxhole and how much both factions need good leaders. A good leader is the make and break in a regiment, an operation and even a coalition. In rare cases a good leader can even change the tide of a war through operations or making large strategic decisions. The importantce of not just some game knowledge but more importantly patience, being clear with instructions, keeping calm when people make mistakes, decision making (this one is really hard sometimes as you don't know what is right or wrong, but you cannot "sit in the middle") and most importantly keeping things fun, never forcing anyone to do anything.

I recently re-tried jumping into Foxhole and just randomly picked Wardens. I had a cold so i was not on VC, but I was typing in regiment chat. People were super friendly. I went from aimlessly doing nothing, to ferrying 120mm shells for an artillery barrage until the ammo stockpiles plus an extra pallet were all gone, to repairing the counter-battery damage, to re-building the crane that got destroyed in the base (holy cow is its turning speed SLOW), to grabbing a flatbed, learning how to pallet-ize 120mm shells from an ammo factory, and learning how to flatbed logi it all the way back out to the base and resupply its ammo rooms. The guy teaching me then picked me up and took me on a tour of his regiments' crazy huge main base. He did warn me of egos (but I've played eve online so I'm used to that). As mentioned in the video I wanted to join his regiment just from the 1:1 interaction alone, but alas that regiment's main comms language is completely foreign to me.

This re-try was way more fulfilling than my very first foxhole experience. It was a destroyed bridge stalemate and people berating the randoms and newbs like me for not going to this specific bridge in voice and chat. Once there it was full of dudes doing pointless musters and throwing us over the river as a meatshield over and over so their group could keep up with the tanks/artillery. When their push failed they just quietly withdrew leaving a bunch of us randoms and newbies to get outplayed and massacred in the counter-push, with no idea how to do things like basic repairs, connect a base, etc.

I hope to stick around some more and find a good regiment.

Good stuff. You pretty much covered all the important aspects for good leadership in Foxhole, especially on the Regimental - Faction level. The politics and drama in the community killed the game for me, but I don't regret the time I spent commanding my regiment. We managed to consistently produce results very few people have been able to replicate and everyone had fun whilst we worked at it.

Recon, Intelligence and After Action Reports are the core fundamentals that I used to teach. Without them very little progress can be made in the long term.

I showed 2 people the ropes of foxhole. I cherish moments when I get to teach a new player how to play a game I personally love and open their eyes to the new experience by unraveling their worries and doubts when faced what appears to be a convoluted process in the backline facilities or front line fighting. (Sgt)'s will make a strong and independent (Major) in the future if you give him a patient and cordial experience by easing him into the mechanics that we know and love and vicariously spreading that passion and joy to other new players of the community.

good stuff especially the motivation and compassion part, hopefully more leaders will watch. im mostly ignored by my reg which is a blessing because i play frontline infantry where we form squads of mixed regiments and solos with other frontline inf. ideally i organize a discord group of infantry thats from different regs who want to practice organzied infantry ops. being that the discord group is not official reg then there is no real leader, we're just trying to train some team infantry since most regs dont care to aside from panicked shouts at their scattered infantry for support they said wouldnt be needed for their op.

Sooo 5.14k Gremblo, main takeaway is to find divine levels of patience and understanding to lead a bunch of idiots to get the most out of Foxhole... Guess I'll just uninstall.
