I am not sure why they are not pushing these type of units for fighting COVID-19 spread. I think if businesses want to keep their customers and employees safe they should install these. The virus can stay in the air for 3 hours. In the appropriate sized room (175 sq feet) this air purifier can filter the air in the room 5 times per hour and considering it is removing nearly 98% per pass it will not take long to remove all of the virus from the air. Nonetheless, this device has not been tested specifically against coronavirus/COVID-19.
