What kind of a documentary is this? No Taiko drums, no overly dramatic, loud music, and constantly repeated visual bytes? The BEST kind. Seriously, it's such a relief to be able to listen to such a clear, unemotional, factually correct presentation. This is the standard that all documentaries should be measured against. Well done.

To summarise a complex topic such as this one, into a little over one hour, without making it sound like a list of bullet points is a challenge. I must congratulate you on such good work! The narration is perfect, spoken with respect to punctuation, with correct pauses between sentences, paragraphs and chapters. This really helps the mind absorb the detail, unlike many documentaries that are ruined by poor delivery of the English language.

Thank you for covering Howard. He is my personal hero, with his flaws included.

Excellent job on telling this exciting historical moment. Carter’s Tenacious character served him and his benefactors well.

Poor Carter looked on by today's 'retro-fitted' morality as a purloiner of artefacts. In 1887 The Egyptians were breaking up Cuneiform tablets for fertilizer, hacking their mummies to bits for jewels, and looting their own tombs for pay. Carter's integrity and painstaking-preservation of Tut's tomb (over eight years) has saved for Egypt an eternal legacy of a record of scholarship and treasures. It seems unfair to saddle his reputation with negativity when he did so much that is of true historical value.

You have the best biographies online. So well researched and so well presented and elegantly photographed. I could listen all day. Looking forward to all the rest of the monarchs of England and Great Britain.

Despite claims about his academic shortfalls, I think Carter's practical experience and clear skills show him to be an excellent professional in his field. A true Egyptologist. And this video depicts his life and work very well. .

I'm a big Howard Carter fan, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves , I would love to have one of his water colours painted in Egypt, I can dream

You guys are incredible! Your content is always to notch! Suggestion: Napoleon III, the last Monarch of France and a pretty underrated one at that

I have been very much interested in all things King Tut since I was a child. About 20 years ago there was a Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute. I was just awestruck. If it wasn’t for Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon I would not have been able to enjoy those amazing sights. Yeah!

Hats off to an archaeologist whose artifact recovery and dedication to conservation and preservation were well ahead of his time.
