Great video, I've been keeping a close eye on this operating system and it looks like they've come a long way in terms of software, very promising and impressive so far! Especially love how lightweight and snappy it is, and things like the window management features and the replicants, which is what sets them apart. It would be an interesting day when they manage to get graphics acceleration working (if they haven't already done so) and improve on the web browser/video situation. Step by step we're getting there!

WHY is Haiku worth looking at? WHY would anyone want to use it? What can you do better with Haiku? I cannot see anything in the video.

Sure, nice for geeks to have something new to play around with.

But is there a good reason to actually use it?

It's like all those different Linux distros that damage Linux as an alternative OS. Instead of having few and focusing on getting those advanced, there are plenty dead and dying branches that cost a lot of energy and go nowhere.
