He got a quick nap in, let her reflect, then spoiled her without completely spoiling her.

And now let me tell you guys that in Taiwan a seat reservation is always included in your train ticket and they don't sell more tickets than seats.

I must say that if you travel short distance, booking seat might not worth it . But once you travel more than 3 hours, better pay that 5€ yo reserve your seat!!!

Pro tip: When booking your ticket, check the first class prices aswell. In 1st class the reservation is always included and if you book early it only costs a few euros more than a 2nd class ticket with reservation.

It’s so German of him to first let you feel the consequences to later give you his seat.
That’s how my parents taught me about consequences haha

I'm watching this sitting on the floor on the train home. In Spain it's a daily occurrence 🤣🤣

Happened to my school class on a school trip. We were 23-24 teens sitting in these goddamn ICE hallways almost in front of the toilets because our seat reservations somehow got cancelled. My teachers weren’t that happy

For train rides over 20 minutes, I always grab a seat mat (like a travel mat, but smaller). It's a lifesaver for when it's crowded.

Simple trick. Go to the restaurant car. Sit down for free and spend those 5 bucks on a coffee. Usually enough to sit for 2-3h without anyone bothering, if you sit longer get some food or more coffee.

When I studied in Germany I went home for 8-9 hours every weekend. Sometimes sitting on the floor sometimes they gave me business place. One time I got a 1s class seat bcs I gave up my seat for an elder disabled woman. U can experience soo much with ICE! 😅😂

In Finland we only have one train company that belongs to the goverment and the seat automatically comes with the ticket

as someone who travelled by train quite a lot from early on, sitting on the floor because the train is overcrowded has become a childhood memory that will always take me back to being a kid

and no i still refuse to pay the extra five euros, sitting on the floor is great

I remember asking a German for the trainstation and he took me with hin to the right train and he asked "what is your seat reservation, i will tell you where you have to stand on the platform"

When I told him that I did not had a reservstion he was shook and he wish me the best of luck. I did not realize it until I had to sit on a floor for 5 hours in a carriage without AC in the middle of the summer...

Come to Poland and use the cheapest trains, especially near holidays or long weekend. You'll be lucky to find a space on the floor to sit on. You won't even need to hold onto anything. You'll be held by the crowd.

As a German, There's ALWAYS someone in your Reserved seat and you have to awkwardly send them away. So I don't pay the extra money for the near guaranteed awkward Encounter.

As an American I’m over here wishing we had trains like Europe. I would gladly sit on the floor vs rush hour traffic

In Indonesia, when you buy an intercity train ticket, you have to reserve the seat. So everyone on board has their own designated seat. If the ticket is fully booked, you might have to find another train.

'I'll pay that extra 5€ from now on' Gurl I'm a student (and suddenly the floor looks comfortable) xD

As a New Yorker, I wouldn’t dare sit on our train floors. I’d catch something. I think Covid was the first time our trains ever got a full scrub down other than the usual mop.
