Pulaski Virginia my landlord there's 5 apartments our water is included we have a lease he is selling the building he has signed the paperwork but he hasn't been paid yet he told all tents he wasn't paying the water bill this month we told him it's in our lease he said I signed papers .so what also what about our lease we haven't been notified by letter on the sale or information on who bought we found out we all have to move there going to remodeling entire apartment building.can we sue for remainder of our lease because if tenents break a lease we could still be paying for rest of time on our lease .? We need help

I am in SW Virginia, but would I be able to take my previous landlord to court for sending my deposit check 47 days after I moved & it not being for the full amount due to cleaning fees not specifically outlined in the contract?
