I bought (actually my parents bought it) New Vegas, played like a 20 minutes and let it sit for about 1-2 years in my library before I actually played and finished it. It became one of my favorites instantly. Sometimes a game might not resonate with you in that moment

The percentage is calculated post-first launch, so you can start the game, crash instantly, open the game and have to leave or fiddle around with the settings, then close out, and it will count.

On top of all of that, the achievement trigger can bug, and you just never get it. I got all the way to Novac before I learned that LOL
