Most of my playthroughs i worked for Mr. House. I completed 1 by siding with Legion, rest is independence and NCR. When i completed every ending, i started only playing for Mr. House. I understood that Legion is dead with Caesar thanks to Joshua Graham. I understand that brain damaged mailman is not the future for New Vegas. And thanks to one quote from Mr. House i understood that democracy is dead.

Other endings are debatable, but if you choose Caesar, you are not right in the head.

Fun Fact: In the lore being a citizen of Caesar's Legion is more safer than being a NCR citizen this is because Caesar's Legion sends any person who was commites any minor or major crimes to crucifixion in public

1. House is the only one who have a goal beyond Mojave.
2. He either proud or fear you depending on your karma. Either way, House let you keep him in check about the future of Vegas political matters.

For NCR, you just become "a highly decorated civilian", you didn't even join political or military ranks, you just a random bozo with fancy decoration. Legion, either with Edward or Lanius, make you 2nd in command and probably the future Caesar, however judging by the political system of Legion, your opinion probably doesn't matter for the ruling Caesar. Yes Man, you control everything, either doomed the Mojave or make it prospers.
