Thank you Antoinette! The part that made me laugh the hardest, is “the best friend I never see”. I regularly go for long periods of time without talking to people I care about. Then, when we get together again, to me, nothing has changed - not time (what’s time anyway?), and not the relationship. It can even be years. To me, everything just picks up where it was before - be it a conversation topic, activity, etc. Sometimes I’m surprised when something has changed on their side - like a life change in the other person’s life, etc. I certainly like to know more then, so I can adjust and reorient myself to their new “place”, but the relationship is the same to me. If something has changed on my side, be it a life stage, or belief / knowledge system / framework, I like to talk about that, or what new data or information, etc.

Another part I identified with is the love of both science / systems (even social systems, and how they interplay with tactical systems), and creativity. Even on platforms like YouTube - my two main categories of folders of saved videos to go back to are science / tech and arts - dance, crafts, etc.

One of the things I love about ENFJs is they force us to experience the world and to learn and to inspire in ways we’re naturally not predisposed to. For ex., you mentioned theater. It would never cross my mind to go to a play, and then I wouldn’t have the motivational follow-through to actually call to get tickets and go, let alone participate in. But, if I were to go to one, with the encouragement of an ENFJ, that experience may gift inspiration or a new way to think about things. And I always love new ways to think about things. I appreciate the growth of the experience.

That’s just one example. I’ve got to run to the store now before they close. Because naturally I left it to the last minute.

Thanks @Antoinette. I don't think intps are used to such attention or so many compliments. An investigative reporter seems like the perfect job for you. I admire enfjs and I'm curious about them. There's an alignment between our types that I don't see examined very deeply anywhere.
