An INTP and ENFJ have a conversation. The ENFJ is concerned that the INTP has been single for too long, and offers to set up him. However, INTP doesn't respond well to matching attempts.

ENFJs and INTPs both use Extraverted Feeling (Fe), but to different degrees. This video demonstrates the high Fe use by the ENFJ, and more restrained Fe use by the INTP.

I remember hating those people who constantly tried to force me into a relationship. Now i am 28, still hate it though. I went along twice and both times it was bad. I didn't have any passion for her and it turned into her trying to make appearance before other people as if we date and me just wanting to end it all (and i did in a couple of days).
The only girl i liked i dated for 3 weeks but we lived really far from each other and i didn't like talking on phone, preffered meeting so we broke up without any misunderstaning and somehow (not intentionally) didn't talk to each other since (it was 9 years ago)

OUCH. I felt the INTP's frustration... Ti-Ne's thinking patterns are by nature private and his motivation is to know his universe to create theories to understand it, even if it becomes nothing concrete, since his enjoyment is in the exploring process (Ne).

It's a possible pattern the ENFJ would try to set him up with someone to make them happier or build a better future as they foresee (Fe-Ni), but an ENTJ could be a recipe for disaster on INTP's mind... if both are not humble and knowledgeable enough, there would be a massive clash on utility (Te-dom x Ti-dom) and organization, not to mention the energy focus difference on goals (Te) or knowledge basis (Ti), despite both of them work for betterment of a context in the future (Ni/Ne).

ENTJ's focus is feasible-realistic (Te), despite their abstract reasoning (Ni), which is opposed to INTP's logical-theoretical focus (Ti-Ne)... they are bound to disagree frequently, so INTP's caution could be "How does she handle other people?"

To be fair, it could be a powerhouse if both's capabilities are harmonized into a functional project, as long as they respect each other's preferences and capabilities.

Ironically ENFJ is by far the better match. Entj will be be nothing but implicitly awkward. For one thing, the orientation of all four functions are directly opposed / reversed.

As An INTP I would love if someone did that for me. Cause going out isn't my thing. As for having discussion with Extroverted people if were are just 2-3 people it's fine as long as it's not small talk or boring stuff, like going to grocery store and stupid stuff that happen on your way home. I want to talk about politic or philosophy or something. Cause really I couldn't give less than a f*** about what the cashier at the super market said to you.

As an ENFJ I will be like:

Because my parents told me I am bothering everyonejust because I want to talk to them. I became forcefully...an INFJ...got out of that and now I am again an ENFJ.

So I would just leave the INTP ...life kinda sucks for us! We think that life us this disney channel show when it clearly isn't. As a child I thiught like hisghschool was like disney channel when it was...far from that. Very far.
