Easy DIY 2x4 bike rack for home garage

How I made a bike rack out of 2x4 lumber.
Our garage was a mess with bikes falling over on each other and falling over on the kids whenever they tried to pull their bike out. Making matters worse, the smaller kids bikes don’t have kickstands so we had to lay them on the ground. I made a wall mounted bike rack from 2x4 lumber and bike hooks from a local home store. This worked great for the winter when weren’t riding, but warmer weather meant more riding and the kids couldn’t put their own bikes away on the hooks because the bikes are too heavy.
I came up with a floor bike rack for summertime so that all of the bikes could be neatly spaced and standing upright ready to roll.
