Thanks for the tips. Like the plastic wood slitting wedge. Also hardware stores sell round steel blendable rods that vary in with and lengths that will get you in your car. I happen to lock myself outside a home depot one day, used the wooden stakes as a wedge that time, the rod I bought cost me less than $5.00 and the wood was free from the scrap pile in lumber, also the plastic strip in kit used to pull up lock knob is similar to plastic straps they use to tie items to pallets and they trash those, pick some up by the dumpster glue a piece of sandpaper to it and back on the road, take care boss, and thanks for giving us Rush, Neil never forgotten

Thank you so much! My son locked his dads keys in car just going on dark tonight. Thankfully the old coat hanger trick worked. I’ve never done it before but I went out there just as he was about to smash a rear corner window! Not even 4 attempts & 10 mins later door was open! Mummy is more surprised then anyone! 😂

Good job... It's cheaper to double check your pockets or triple. Did it once ill never do it again xD. You can also keep a magnetic key box underneath the car with a spare key.

It is great to help others and review products however to say that a service is too expensive is a stretch. A service is exactly what it means "service" and a service usually comes w a fee as you described to drive out time and skills. And those that need service will have to pay a fee for someone else that has those tools, skills and time. Once again thanks for the review. On the product

So, how much is your time with your family worth? My husband used to get lockouts, and they always happened when he was at dinner with his family, or going to bed, sometimes after he was asleep, once when the family was opening Christmas presents.... so I repeat, how much is your time worth. How much would someone have to pay you to get up out of a warm bed and get dressed to go out in the cold, raining night to the other side of town for a lockout? Getting a roadclub sounds like good advice, but shame on you for devaluing the service provided. Tools, insurance, time, advertizing, cell phones, etc are all figured into that service. I think $60 is cheap.... try getting a plumber or electrician to do it for that price

Here's an idea, duh. Make a extra door key and put it in your wallet.
