Hi Mary Bear, the true store of Rilakkuma is so interesting. I really like how you described the words Rila means relax and Kuma is a bear. One time I read that Rilakkuma stayed over his or her friend's home and kept on relaxing or sleeping alot. Her friend saw rilakkkuma lazy. I am not sure if this is accurate. Maybe an urban legend. I've heard a couple of times that Korilakkuma isn't a girl. I don't know if that means that the character is a boy even though it(?) often wears feminine things. Not that a boy can't wear or like anything feminine, but that's how I've made the assumption that Korilakkuma is a girl.

There's also another thing I don't get. If Korilakkuma isn't a girl, then is Rilakkuma really a boy? Do either of them even have genders??
