Senator Tim Scott will deliver a speech at the Hudson Institute about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel, wiping Hamas off the map, and confronting those who are enabling terrorism.

Following the remarks, Senator Scott will sit down for a conversation with Hudson Senior Fellow Michael Doran.

About the Presidential Speech Series:

The 2024 presidential election will coincide with a time of fundamental global transition. From the ongoing war in Europe to the Chinese Communist Party’s increasingly aggressive challenge to the US, the next president will need to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thought, and the ability to craft clear policy and shape the national consensus.

For more than 60 years, Hudson Institute has challenged conventional thinking and helped manage strategic transitions to the future through interdisciplinary studies in defense, international relations, economics, energy, and technology. Hudson is guided by the understanding that American leadership is vital to security, freedom, and prosperity.

In that spirit, Hudson has invited leading presidential candidates to share their views on America’s role in the world and the principles that would guide their foreign and defense policies in the inaugural Presidential Speech Series.

Why did the comments for Ramaswamy interview get turned off after 18 hours? It already had over 200 comments when the comments mysteriously got turned off. Who doesn't want the people's voice to be heard? Hudson Institute or YouTube?

I just watched Vivek's interview - why did they switched off his comment section????

I'm only 15 minutes in, does Tim Scott ever talk about anything other than Joe Biden? I was hoping for something more substantial.

Came here after watching the comment section get disabled on Vivek’s speech. I’m guessing Tim Scott is more in line with the Hudson institute than Vivek? Such a disappointment on this institute for censoring diverse perspectives on foreign policy.

I watched the Ramaswamy video before this one. Tim Scott is a good senator, but Vivek will be a better president. In my opinion, the interviewer failed at winning the argument with Vivek on Israel, Iran, China and what was obviously his very personal foreign policy position regarding Armenia. Ramaswamy has such a vast range of knowledge in so many areas that are important in the office of the president. He was able to clearly defend his foreign policy positions with an obviously partisan and combative interviewer. Ramaswamy's ability to clearly state his position in a way that most voters can easily understand allows voters to decide if he is the type of president they want. Mike Pence and Tim Scott did not make such clear foreign policy statement, mostly because they weren't grilled by the interviewer in the same way. Pence didn't even sit down with the interviewer, or maybe he did and it went so badly that it was edited out.

I will vote for you in a heartbeat. I really like your perspective and your leader ship principles. Plus, I like that you are a brother in the Lord. Way to go.
