If a cop creates a crime they should go to prison . The same for prosecutors that don't charge police .

When a police chief, either on his own or under the direction of civilian oversight (i.e., Board of Supervisors, City Council, Mayor, etc., etc.) implements change and gets....wait for this now...."pushback" from the rank and file? The solution is obvious. Those rank and file cops who can't support the new policy need to be terminated. Immediately. The very idea that police officers refuse to follow directives is an abomination to good order and discipline with the department. Don't complain about the pushback. Fire the cowards. RIGHT NOW! That would be the ultimate sign of leadership.

Fairfax citizens need to chose the new police Chief, find the right one and the 30 police Chief and officers would be arrested for their crimes against their Community.

Corrupt to the core, Chief is exiting as he could only go so far. They need to clean house, but the Union will be the obstacle. Another civil right fight, change is hard and dirty.

Civilian oversight is needed for this department. It's hard for many of them to be but back on the leash when they have been off of one for so long.
