My car came out beautiful! Even better than I expected, but I took it to you for the quality work you do. Thank you and crash champions!

Beautiful work! I watch a lot of videos where they repair scratches. This is certainly one of the best methods I have seen. I like what you said about the single stage paint, as a matter of fact I just purchased a bottle of that to repair some paint chips on my white Toyota and I am going to be following this method. Thanks for sharing.

I just painted my car in glasurit single stage. I got a few runs and was of the mindset that the runs would wet sand out.
I managed to get 80% of the runs out with no problems.
A coupe of runs though, wasn’t great. I think the pigments pooled up within the run and after coulour sanding, you could see darker and lighter patches where the run was. I hadnt rubbed through to the coat beneath it either.
I now know that even with single stage solid colours, you need to do all you can to avoid runs.

One of my cars has some scratches that are in the clear (not the base) but too deep to just buff out. I’ve been thinking of doing something like this to fix them (just using clear) but wasn’t sure if it would work. I might have to try it now after seeing this video. Thank you.

I have done a few of these in my day. But a lesson to the uninitiated, all sanding is taking material off, never putting it back. It behooves us to keep this thought preeminent. 😁

The time spent working on your ability to keep paintwork as small as possible is well worth it.Over my thirty years of painting I have developed many tricks for fixing paintwork and keeping it small. When you work with a bodyman whos nickname is Edward Scissorhands those skills are invaluable.

Hey man can you do a video with these newer pastels and grey colors about the blending tricks? We use solvent so it maybe different but we have been cutting the base on our last blend 50/50 with SRA and using a mini gun or 1.0 1.2 head to get it as fine as we can. Any tricks you have would be a great video, thanks!

We have a master PDR guy in our area. He removed over 150 hail dings in the hood, roof, fenders, and quarter panels, of our virtually new Mazda CX-5. I’m super picky and was unable to see any evidence of damage, after the work was performed. These PDR guys are a Godsend.

Amazing job Kandy Man the scratch has totally disappeared, combining the skill of the PDR guy and your painting skills it has saved having to do a paint and blend in that area👌
Do you have any UV clear? that would have made the job a lot quicker, what I have is a kit with a small bottle of UV clear and a little UV torch which will cure the clear in under a minuet plus it cures rock hard and won't shrink, it's a really nice kit as you also get some applicators and even a small block, ideal for the home diy user🙏👍John UK

Good fix, sort of repair "trade" used to ask for! The dent repair style has changed so much when I started, relying on the paint supply companies sending the right shade...

That worked out well great video and job, the pastel colours are hard to keep small if your trying to do a small blend so that was definitely a better option you might of been down the side if it was being sprayed . Great job man 👍

Nice job Kandy Man and Brad. PDR has always intrigued me. Came out perfect. The owner should be thrilled he kept the factory paint. Cheers!!

I have a black (LY9B) Audi. And if i got just the first part as good as yours (before sanding) i would be more then happy. Normally i take a short cut and mix the paint with hardener so i dont have to do the clearcoat step. I know its wrong, but am not after perfection, just make it better for myself =)
