So, here's part 1 of that thing I talked about a few days ago. When I originally started the channel, I was considering doing a bunch of anime related music along with Touhou, but I could never really find lyrics, images, etc. so I decided to keep my channel just for Touhou stuff. Having said that, YAY, Zerochan image unavailable! You never fail me!

However, my favourite anime is Higurashi and I just really felt like I needed to do this, so I'm going to be subbing all the image songs for the characters, provided I can get lyrics for them.

I'll probably upload a Touhou vocal/arrange along with a Higurashi thing for the next few days. All of these songs you have to watch the anime or read the Visual Novels to understand, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I always saw this song as fitting Shion best, but it isn't her image song (despite playing in the Visual Novel chapter centered around her). She's looking off into the sky thinking about Satoshi, wondering if he's alive and what he's doing, all that stuff. Who else could it fit, really? This song seems to be considered the "true" Dear You, but that's subjective. I still think it's Shion's character song, despite already having one (Dear You -Thanks-)

This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I met my girlfriend in Sweden as she was an exchange student from Japan at the same school I was studying but the story is not how we met or anything. We both loved anime and we always suggested and shared our anime with each other and we fell in love. After a few years, she moved back to Japan however but we kept the relationship for 9 years and made it work. On our very first date, the first song she shared with me was this song. 2018-03-13 she died because of a drunk driver and this song was played at her funeral. I listen to this song every time I want to remember her and it pains me every time to the point I cry but every time it is worth it.

After that, I found out that this song is from anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni which my brother watched and loved it. I watched it as well and this song brings memories about my brother. He committed suicide Oct 1st 2020 when I was in school. Thanks to this song I can recall one of the most fun memories with him. May he rest in peace...

i heard this song 2 times in some other videos on youtube but i wasn't able to find the name of the song
but now, i found something in my recommended, it was a video about higurashi
when i played the ending of the video, that song played, and when i looked down at the comments
i noticed that they mentioned a song at the end called "dear you"
then i'm finally here, and i finally know the song that i played in my childhood
