Your idea is awesome. However, biggest downside to gig economy apps/business is that once the relationship between clients and vendor, the cook in this case, becomes established, the app is pretty much worthless and stops generating income.

Uber still survives because of the randomness and one-off occasions that people want the service.

for the health idea, I think it would be good if you could just put your info in your health app on your iphone and the android version and in a way share it with the clinic/hospital you're going to. Bonus if it will translate the info automatically (this actually shouldn't be too hard since medical terms tend to be similar in every country)

Four questions you must answer in your pitch if you want any VC to listen:

1. What is the problem your product or service solves and why it so important to solve this problem?

2. How does your solution work and why it so good (or better than others)?

3. Can anyone copy your product or offer a non-infringing (in the case of a patented product) solution to the same problem?

4. What is your plan to carry the project forward? What do you need (capital, expertise, regulatory)?What analysis have you done to substantiate your needs? What do you know, you don't know?

Love the glasses for shopping food idea! However, that requires a tremendous amount of specialized tech processes and development from the get-go. I would think only experts in the field could get in on the action because they have the connections, the know-how and the people to make it work. For a small business entrepreneur with very little in capital and practically no connections in the relevant fields, this would be a no-go.

For the playrooms in shopping malls and kid-friendly cafes idea--the reason this hasn't caught on in America is because of liability issues. Parents, especially parents with money, are REALLY lawsuit happy. So if something wrong happens with a kid while his parents are away for an hour, more likely than not his parents will sue the playroom/restaurant. So, to avoid any of this, there are no playrooms in shopping malls and no play areas in restaurants. That's also the reason why playgrounds are almost always located on government property in the U.S.--sovereign immunity (i.e. you can't sue the government for civil liability). In Russia playrooms are more widespread because parents aren't primed to sue the business if something goes wrong with their kid. And lawsuits are way harder to file and to win.

That Privacy thing is a Farce when you are having thousands of Blockchains that have been hacked several times in the past few years and the companies dont even tell their customers that they have been hacked, until months later. Some good Ideas but, a of holes in those oppty...
