Craig O'Shannessy visits the studio to analyse the Ladies' Singles Final between Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza.

People are always saying that without her serve, as if mastering the serve is not the job of every tennis player, Serena cannot win. Well, today, her serve was WAY off, and she still won.

Serena didn't win the finals by serving, she won it by placing the ball at the right spots. for those who claim she is all about power, that is why the misunderstanding resides.

That entire table wanted garbine to win. Muguruza didn't give that match away. Serena took it. Should have been 6-4 6-1. Good effort though.

Garbine was never going to beat Serena today...I don't care what she did or didn't do.
These three weren't too different than Fox News analysts while talking about President Obama. People hate for the race card to be brought up, but I honestly don't know what else it could be. How can you not be totally admiring of what Serena does day in and day out on a tennis court? Like others have said, you can barely tell that Serena won the tournament from what these three were saying. Why is that? They should ask themselves that question and think really long, hard and truthfully for the answer.

Who cares about the stats and numbers. That's the problem with Americans., always rattling off numbers which is damn boring to listen to. European Wilander is better at analysis. He doesn't need all those numbers which are just relative. Tennis is a fluid game. Just describe the match as you have seen it. Anytime I take Wilander. Get lost numbers analyst O'S!
