I think you'd want to talk to destiny about money in politics/lobbying. It was one of his stronger position early on but he flipped around 2018-2019 I believe due to some email asking him whether he could find any lobbied policy that passed while being unpopular with the general/relevant electorate. He probably has mulled this over a lot since it was a pretty big change on one of his fundational beliefs. You may have a good convo actually.

The most reasonable video I've ever seen from a bearded guy with a camo cap and an American flag behind him talking about "Jewish money" in politics.

Umm, I've heard that he was 17% down before AIPAC put in a dime? Because if so, this was a pretty giant waste of money for AIPAC?
You didn't even talk about the redistricting gerrymandering that was certainly a plus for Latimer, perhaps even more than AIPAC?

@econoboi will you ever reveal your stance on Israel and Palestine because at least from what I have seen from the podcast your stance seems to be ambiguous

Morning Brew has a good video on how freezing the assets of politicians and their families is surprisingly bi-partisan on Capitol Hill.

Of course that is about Wall Street and not PAC donations, but unfortunately it's almost a guarantee that non-state organizations have a heavy influence on policy (Project 2025 is an example).

So now the conversation is: How dedicated are the American people and their representatives to making a truly independent government that is aggressively shielded from these influences? Do we pay them more? Do we pay them less? Do we impose broad term limits? How does this look in each branch of government?

I think you could do a whole podcast on this very topic.
