Yes the money mattered, but so did Bowman’s actions. A lot of these representatives in congress needs to understand that they are voted in to represent their constituents, not their own personal beliefs.

Most Jews are Democrats, especially in New York. You can’t scream “genocide” or “from the river to the sea” and expect AIPAC to give you money. But Bowman’s loss was too big to blame it on money anyway.

I definitely agree with some of these comments. Bowman’s action gave him away and that in itself led to his defeat. When you are representing your constituents, it’s important to know who they are and what you need to bring to the table to help them. Bowman’s actions were toxic to bear and many of his constituents especially the Jewish community were turn off.
