I’ve been playing 38 years and this is definitely worth watching to help reset the swing. This is not just for beginners. Everyone could benefit from this.

was 1993....
I got selected to go on a state junior golf camp.
There was about another 80 other kids and the majority had beautiful new dandy clubs...

I remember a man by the name of Laurie Montague who was the leader of all the pro's there for us to learn 🙏... Well he took my humble set of second hand blades and educated everyone...
Amazing golf memories ❤️🦘❤️🦘

I went from 18 to 4 between the age of 13 to 16.

Utterly simple if you can consistently press play to knowing your body and more importantly knowing where your leading edge is to your plain and tempo...

Excellent coach 👍🦘❤️

Laurie, can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your tips on the golf swing. Golf has become fun again and not such a challenge

This video found me! Just what I needed. Swing and finish. Let that ball get hit as a byproduct! Fabulous job Lawrie!

Wonderful simple non mechanical explanation of how to get it done for folks with limitations. Job well done.

An excellent explanation of how to swing the golf club. It is the smoothness and rythm of the movement that are the keys to a good golf swing. There is no need to try to hit the ball as hard as you can. Most other teachers complicate matters by talking about the transition, the squat, the weight shift, the shallowing of the shaft on the way down etc., when all you need to do is to turn from position A to position B. The club face will collect the ball in the process. Brilliant!

This was more helpful to me, than any other video I’ve watched as I begin playing golf. Thank you for keeping it simple.

Hi Lawrie, I took this to the course today. So many golf tips out there. I've tried them all. But this one is different. Your excellent, simple explanation is, as far as I'm concerned, golf's equivalent of the Holy Grail. Many

This is the simplest and clearest demonstration I have seen. Easy to understand. Easy to practice. Unlike others which ask me to do many different drills which don’t necessarily replicated in a game.
this one is easy to learn and repeat. No tools no drills! Thank you.

Love the A to B concept. You make things very simple yet helpful as well as useful. Anyone can gain valuable info from all your videos.

this is good advice for me. i can always hit a lot of good shots off a teed ball because i swing through sort of like a practice air swing but put a ball on the ground and i chop at it. gotta work on this for all shots. thnx, steve.

My swing had recently gone off the rails. I could still hit my driver well, but I could not hit an iron. Out of a practice bucket of 60 balls I hit 59 shanks. Could not understand what the hell was going wrong. I stumbled on this video and Mr. Montagues's illustration about new golfers wanting to hit down on the ball was exactly what I was doing wrong. A to B is exactly wghat I needed to see. I have been playing for 50 years, sometimes well and sometimes poorly. I have paid instructors for many lessons and not one of them showed me this simple principle. Easy to visualize, easy to remember and easy to practice. Thanks for saving my sanity and my summer.

I have just taken up golf at 68, after a background in field hockey. My back and wrists have a bit of arthritis in them now and don't have a full range of motion, so I struggle to get my belt buckle facing the target-but that is the pre-occupation of any lessons I take. Thanks for giving me permission to use my arms to compensate! Not sure I can manage much more in the wrists though!

I enjoyed the lesson. Took me back to basics because I got so inclined to hit the ball as hard as i can leading to all kind of problems
