Animation comparison - Samsung's One Ui 4.1 Vs Xiaomi's MIUI 13 based on Android 12

Imo miui has extra unnecessary animations which makes it kinda weird...
I prefer Samsung's clean minimalist yet nice animations...

Xiaomi's MIUI 13 a little better than Samsung's One Ui 4.1. But people in India fear to buy Xiaomi's phone because of security reasons. Being a chinese phone (India do not have good relation with china), Indian people fear to buy the phone because it can get hacked easily . On the other hand, Samsung is a South korean brand and people of India think that it can give better protection via Knox security than the chinese phone. So people in India buy Samsung phones more than Xiaomi phone.

I feel that too much is going into UI customization and not much is being done for apps in terms of using the size of the display in fullscreen. Are we forever stuck in a zoomed in fullscreen mode?

Swipe down notification is good on Mi UI, remaining animations are minimalistic and decent in One UI, but those MI UI dramatic animation also serves for youth 😃

I used both miui and one ui i feel in few areas miui looks good but overall i definitely go for one ui best android skin like separate keyboard and goodlock features thanks to developers made best experience

The only thing one ui lacks right now, regarding animation, is the animation of the swipe up gestures. It is not that optimised as compared to the optimised 3 buttons configuration.

Miui apps closing animation is more realistic it react to your navigation gesture
In oneui only open and close from the app location no matter how you swipe it
And landscape application opening and closing is more smooth in miui

I'll stick with Samsung but the other phone was nice with deleting apps I like how it move the remaining apps over that was really cool thanks for making a great video.

I feel One UI is more mature over Mi UI. There are very subtle things in One UI like the in settings if you pull down the listings, then, the title gets expanded almost upto half the screen making the navigation through one hand much more easier. One UI is a winner for me.

There's not even a comparison One UI is clearly superior in my opinion. It's not just smoothness or transitions. Maybe in China like a bad imitation of iOS but that's a no no in the West. That... explosion when you remove an icon is the epitome of kitsch.

Nice comparison. but sad I cannot see the speed comparison when opening folders from the homescreen. Can you try that and let me know? Because thats where the Miui12 is really slow against my Miui11, where that is fast and responsive. Was wondering if that is fixed in Miui13 or compared to OneUI 4.0 as Im considering S21Fe vs Xiaomi12x..

I am not a big fan of animations. Basic smooth transition is what I prefer. So no comment on this one.
