The Placebo Effect

Try and see if you can find the real tablet on this screen. If you guessed any of these, you're wrong, because these are all tic-tac's, but if I was a medical professional handing over some tablets to cure your headache or the morning after pill (you wouldn't want that to be a tic-tac), how do you know that it's the real deal?

Love that last pill rolling off at the end. Great video!

Nice video man. The new camera you have makes it look a lot better than your previous vids. Science is awesome.

Lol Dolphins. Nice video mate and last pill rolling around gives the finishing touch.

I can only assume it does, like if you know the tablet is ineffective I doubt it will work.

I have a question though, I feel like I am the opposite. Is there such thing as a reverse placebo effect? Like, I don't think this aspirin is going to help my headache, so it doesn't? For YEARS, no kind of headache medicine has helped me, I always just have to wait them out. Same with cold or allergy medicine. It's like I'm immune to the medication instead of the disease.

No pharmaceutical company would be happy if we could just heal ourselves without their drugs, so I'm not sure if it will ever be taken advantage of.

I think a 'subconscious placebo' would be more potent than a 'conscious' effort

Well it could be a new pharmaceutical company which does this.
