This is great but I would love to see even the smallest clips of what these builds are looking like when played. That’d be sick

I think an additional comment to make about bow deadeye builds this league: yes the damage and clear is good, but defenses are at the worst it's ever been. Deadeyes got a lot more glass cannon-y so I would personally not recommend it to people who don't like dying, or don't like having to position around a lot. One-Shots are VERY common.
.
I've invested about 20 divines into my ele hit deadeye and whilst the damage anf clear is amazing, trying not to die will always be a problem and the only real way to scale defense, is to scale damage.

Major fail on understanding power siphon miner. You can use it completely off screen. Only small issue is making sure not to be on top of your mines. Other than that it has been ridiculously good

Power siphon locus mine is the new shadow leveling meta .. i got to yellow maps with no gear and one shooting everything with actual campaign gear ..
You're right about close range .. but it off screens while mapping

12:05 Power Siphon mines works great at range. I'm farming t17s in SSF by just off-screening everything. You can even stand so far the mobs don't aggro sometimes, like with Verisium ores. Max charge them, blink away, then spam mines until you hear the ore pop.

The main problem is the close encounters, like in-door maps if progressing your atlas, and proxy/temporal shield enemies, since your mines literally don't activate if you stand close to them, and those enemies require you get close.
Also, in SSF, wand crafting can be a pain since you constantly roll caster mods, but maybe there's a crafting strat I don't know about. Other than fractured bases of course.

In regards to hexblast being expensive: it's also one of the builds that really enables sanctum, which is the easiest way to generate wealth without being a trade monkey. The few people I know who have been doing sanctum have been drowning in divines.

Started zerker es. Hated it. Rerolled at 96 for balormage holy relic and love the build.
Personally hate LS so skipped that.

This is the first Season I dont follow meta build. My gearing is so much cheaper that way. My build might not be as optimal but it's so cheap that it feels really good.

That's the problem with chasing the "best" league starter. Once everyone knows the best one, the build skyrockets into a 20-50 divine build, making it a low-mid budget build for a character that's only designed to farm currency in order to make a real build.

This is why most people kinda sorta quit before moving on from their league starter, because the only way to avoid being stuck in red maps the entire league is to play a build that can either run in garbage price gear that is super tanky and does no damage in hardcore, OR does a a ton of damage but dies 1-3 times a map. I can already point out how lightning strike slayer is not a good league starter since melee is super gear dependent now, and the best gear is going to be expensive.

Could you show us your build more in detail? Since it is melee league it is very hard to find good Bow-guides and get competent help. Maybe a quick Recap regarding the general idea behind the concept, especially defences.

i agree i leaguestart lacerate and it was so bad i was not enjoying the first few days of the league at all and have a very bad time with it, but i was leveling up and the gold cost start to become too much and idk if i can farm enough gold to respec to slayer. Good thing gothara have a version of bleed gladiator where he specialized on eviscerate instead so i respec to that with minimal cost and it was a BLAST- super tanky and have such great AoE in juiced maps, something lacerate could never

Great summary! I’m playing glad sst, it’s not bad feels kinda squishy though and single target dps sucks. Probably switching to arch mage.

Tried Lighting Strike as a third build just to see what all the hype is about. Starts out kinda weak but it definitely ramps up after the second Ascendancy and is a lot more fun to play.

Poe Ninja isn’t pulling in Eviscerate as a main skill very well. I think it might be more popular as Gladiator than lacerate.

The Ice Nova Archmage is a lot of fun. A bit of cast speed and mana leech and you're golden

Is there a new player build guide or should I just import the best and shoot for the moon?

Thanks a lot for your videos - always enjoy them! Any thoughts on slam builds ? Steel mage had a blast with a bleed marauder during campaign?!
