Today I’ll show you how to make the BEST Longbow/Dagger build in Throne and Liberty. I uploaded an early version of this build about a week ago and I took everyone's feedback into consideration so thank you for all the comments and tips. The skills, gear and specializations synergize so well to create one of the best HIGH damage assassin builds. I’m going to show you the best skills and specializations for PVE and then show you what you need to switch up for your PVP loadout so you can maximize your survivability and damage against other players. This build combines Karnix’s bow and the Dark Slayer daggers to help you reach 50 strength easily. Reaching this threshold adds extra heavy attack chance to your attacks which gives you the chance to double your dmg. This is a huge advantage to have in PVE against bosses and PVP when you sneak up on other players. This biggest con for this build is the lack of AOE when mob farming BUT it deals massive single target DPS and with the right skill rotation, you’ll be able to destroy enemies from range and close those gaps with your dagger skills, which also give you the ability to teleport during combat.

People are sleeping on the strafing mobility trait. Being able to have more uptime on the additional evasion in a likely evasion focused build is huge.

I think for Longbow is range extension and quick movement important plus 50% less decay rate. The range extension from 19 min to 22 or more is hugh on PVP, because you can tie him up first easily.

720 ranged hit chance is definitely not enough for geared pvp. I would swap the helmet with the helm of resistance, the chest with the blue resistance one you get from story, the bracers for the Heroic grips of the resistance, the necklace for the Icy Necklace of Strength, and the pants for shadow harvester breeches. In my opinion. Hit chance is the most important stat for this build, and my suggestions would bring it to 1300+

I was excited for this! Thank you for droppin it! Man!! Goin into end game build is kinda hard. I been nonstop grinding for some of the items esp the trousers and belt from your first video and man its soo tough to get it. For the end game i have the armor and cloak and bow ready. But i guess i have to check ur early mid game build to compromise what im lacking. Ngl, for free to play players its hard to get those end game gears and tryina max em out. for pve decisive sniping combo, i recommed to use invis skill before using 2nd snipe shot for guaranteed crit hit while having limit break dmg boost. For pvp highly recommend devoted shield passive... saved my ass so many times lol. And I keep flash wave for some aoe instead of marker because most of time someone in team is already using it

specially if using the bow dagger build correctly where u gain coldown speed wen attacking with the dagger equiped in your off hand and using it while attacking

I’ll have to test that rotation out. I’ve been using shadow strike, ankle strike, fatal stigma, thundercloud after the lightening strafe/zephyr combo.

Just started an alt and I am loving this build. Do you have something more oriented towards AoE farming?
If I decide to stick to this new build as my main, would you recommend me switching gs for bow on my main? (gs/dagger) or just switch to playing the alt full time? Not sure what is cheaper/more optimal

This is not a bad build at all. I quite like this. The only issue is I've mostly just been focusing dexterity and perception simply because I just want to build into the whole dagger movement speed thing a lot, and I'm still able to achieve some decent damage. Yes, I probably should build into the strength. Just because of the added HP But i've already slotted in most of the purple gear that i'm currently using and swapping, now would be quite difficult.

I just barely gathered all the PVE gears and updating them as I'm typing this during tonight's maintenance.
Comparing the PVE to PVP gears, there are only seven different gears to get. The Phantom Wolf Breeches is the only gear you need to change from Max Health to Debuff Duration. I think I'll just use Debuff Duration as part of my PVE setup so I don't have to craft another pant.
