Ancelotti has been successful, why did other coaches not copy his style? Blaming Pep is beyond stupid. I found a system that works for me, i didn’t ask anyone to copy me. Why didn’t other coaches copy Mourinho’s style?

You can't blame Pep. You can blame the managers that don't use their own brains and try to copy. It's why we loved Klopp's heavy metal, feral like football. It reminded us of the 00s. He went against the grain to defeat Pep. Other managers need to start implementing their own ideas.

People should go and watch football from the 80s and 90s, yes there are some individuals here and there but the football is dross, nothing but booting it up field and back, probably the reason England have started to make it to semi finals and finals is a change in style, since 1966/1970 they’ve never been that close on a regular basis.

That takes always baffles because I understand the criticism of Pep taking the creativity out of football but Arsenal fans have no room to criticize Pep because Arteta literally copies his style to a T, which is why Arsenal are even competing. As much as we rightly criticize Pep, you always have to understand the positive impact he’s on winning football.

Saying Pep ruined football is crazy work; football has always had different styles and approaches. There’s been pragmatic approaches, counter attacking approaches, counter press based systems and control based systems.

Pep is just a master at his, given how data driven football is now, the obvious was to make sure you can control the result is by being possession dominant - I.e statistically giving yourself the best chance of winning by limiting your opponent.

Having a worldie player that’s just out there for pure entertainment can only take you so far, these players want to win games; fans also won’t stand for poor results as long as they can say “phwoaarr Grealish was immense today even though we get pumped 3-0”
