In this video, we look at the new TRD Lift kit for the 2022+ 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra. This kit is at a suggested MSRP of $3995. Is it worth the price to stay under warranty? Let me know?

I put this on my '22 Limited Hybrid Tundra, and I love it. If you look around, you can find the kits for around $2500, but it is totally worth it.

You can get aftermarket suspension for the same price and it will be way better than factory

In the Mod world I’ve learned to go with manufacturers parts as much as I can. There is something to be said about worry free driving.

Yes warranty against wear or misaligned parts plus factory parts absolutely worth the price

As long as the kit is installed from day one it comes with a 3yr/36 month warranty as longs as the manufacture can’t prove failure do to abuse. If the TRD kit is installed after the fact then is comes with a 12 month 12 miles warranty. Again as long as failure is not from abuse.

New gens need a lift so bad. They sit REAL low with tiny tires stock

This lift kit does it right because it replaces the front axles and adds upper control arms with tie rod extensions with some other goodies people throw spacers on the shocks and throw bigger tires on it and come in with broken front axles at the dealer from not doing it right since this trucks chassis and suspension is designed in a finicky way for some reason compared to the last generation

Depends on what all is included and how long it's under warranty. If it's a proper stage 3 or better and 3inch, then yes I'd say that's not a bad price

A big yes it’s perfect if you need more lift than that then you need to use an ATV or UTV

Putting a westcott design lift u still have your warranty and for fraction of the cost too

If it is delivered off the lot with the lift kit and off-road tires etc.. worth it.

Very pricey considering that the TRD aftermarket lift is similar in price. Basically Toyota is giving you no credit for the suspension components you would have gotten with no lift. So instead of paying for the additional upgrade you’re simply starting over and paying twice from the factory.

My dealership told me I can’t lift my Platinum because it interferes with the AVS and some collision electronics.

I’ve paid more for less so I would definitely do it because of the warranty

''Tires and wheel combinations larger than OEM sizes may void the vehicle’s warranty'' ... from the toyota website

4k? Naw id just stick with dobinsons IMS lift kit. Way better suspension for nearly half the price. Dobinsons has a warranty as well

At least the warranty will still be intact with getting price gouged at the dealer.

3.5 rough country lift kit all in with install will run you about $1600…

This is how the dealerships just s**** y** Because they know everybody wants to lift the truck. And they know it's gonna avoid the warranty. So they say Hey for 3900 almost $4000. You can lift your your vehicle 3 inches to accommodate larger tires or a better suspension without voiding your warranty. So they're basically charging you four grand for a six hundred dollar fucking lift
