The F 015 Luxury in Motion is Mercedes-Benz's concept "cocoon on wheels" that could easily pass for an exhibit in Disney's Tomorrowland. It also represents the future of automobiles. Watch Dietrich Zetsche and his lovable robot eyeball cohost give us a taste of where transportation is going.

Reminded me of I, Robot when he started talking about ethical dilemmas with self-driving cars. And how ethics and deciding what is the right thing to do is hard for robots (like how in I, Robot the robot wanted to save Will Smith instead of the child). Does it crash into a wall, or a ditch? Crash into a truck, or a small car with a family in it?

The future is so close yet still far away.

We see the future as everybody who owns a car having a car like this but sadly, it won't be like this at all. People are still going to be driving their 96 Hondas & their 84 Mercurys. It will take another 100 years for most of the population to drive/own a car fit for the future.
