Trading 101: How Much Money Will You Make per Week?

I received this question through my website and it brings about a great talking point. If you are going to get involved in the stock market and day trading or swing trading, how much money will you earn per week? There is no black and white answer, so I do my best to explain the "it depends" dynamic of this question.

Never aim for the money. Aim for a good trade.

How about a video on what YOU would make weekly? (roughly)
Based off a $5, 000 account with your style, knowledge, risk, positions....

I want to understand a few things. The dividends are paid yearly? I pay the shares monthly, or I buy it and that’s it? If I buy 1 share that costs 50$ then I profit 2$ then when the dividend is paid (after a year) I withdraw 2$ as profit, or if I sell it for more, let’s say 60$, I withdraw 62$? Or if the prices goes down to 45$ and I decide to sell I get 47$? I know the more you invest the more you profit, but if I don’t have much money to buy shares (again, I pay once or every month that share price/value?), then is it worth to invest if i only have, let’s say 200$ to use on investiments? Or I need to have 10.000$+? How often I get the dividends? Does dividends percent change too? How do I withdraw profits to buy things I want? Does it take years to be able to see any profits?

I started trading 9/19 with $8000, I'm currently at $19000.

Is this typical?

I trade very part-time, I own a business with 8 employees so I stay very busy.

Did I just get lucky and buy in at the right time? It just seems way to easy. With the internet, information on companies is easily obtainable.

Plus option buys and sells are so easy to profit from, especially long term plays.

I'm excellent at math, I'm patient, and I was born without emotion. Did I finally find my calling? My business is doing excellent, but I'm bored with the type of work. I have nothing else to learn from it...

really it comes down it, its the fact that you really need at least 10-30k or more in liquidity to comfortably make a decent wage trading stocks. thats what keeps people from making money and being traders, they just dont have the money to put in initially.

Clay, is the largest factor that would determine how much you can make a week limited to our 3 day trade a week rule? Are there tricks to getting the most out of this rule?

From your opinion, what % that you consider good or excellent if we can make it per week. Just ignore the capital we have. If we can make 5% per week, is that good?. Or if someone make 10% per week, that is excellent? I mean, what percentage per week that is appropriate for weekly target.

Living in the countries when the normal wage is 300$/per month
Making 500$/per month would be very good you can live very good in poor countries with 500/1000$
But living in countries where nornal wage is 3000/4000$ and making 500$ is like having part tine job with all the risk that's why people want to make lots of money from beginning and i think there's a trap

If i start investing in stocks... It means that i own the stock then why invest every few months when i already own the stock doesn't tht mean I'm putting all my money in 1 stock....
2. If i dont invest every few months in my stock and the company incurs a loss does that mean that I'm gonna lose my stock

Clay, thanks for your video. In your opinion, what are the minimum and maximum average annual profit margin percentages that can be expected in trading?

What is this "per week" question? If you're collecting dividends, you're only getting that money quarterly, right? Unless we're continuously buying and selling every week you don't just get *insert number here* much money per week, yeah?

For f@#$ sake... Why NOBODY on the whole planet won't say how much return in percentage can you expect in one month? Of course, that percentage can differ from one person to another based on their skills but at least AN IDEA on how much can you expect. For example, if you are an educated and dedicated trader, how much return, roughly, can you expect? Thank you Clay!
