If you are profitable, no amount of capital is too small to start. If you are not profitable, no amounts will be enough.

I started with $100 took that $100 to $1000 in 2 weeks. I was so proud and still am about it.

It’s about how skilled you are not how much you start with in the markets! Good advice bro!

I started paper trading first. I went live when I hit 5 million paper trading. I started a live account with $25 weekly(training account) on mt4. I didn't put more $ in until I made $1000 without over leveraging. I blew my trading account a few times and it was a long journey, but I'm glad I took it. I passed the 1k mark and other pdt 25k mark. I'm currently working on my first 100k mark

Realistically you can use even under $100 if you actually pay attention to the markets and know what’s going on far as profits / losses. Question is are you disciplined enough to take the profits and call it a day or take a loss and come back when the set up comes again.. You can’t just hit the market thinking your gonna get in and make money.. You gotta see what’s going on and it might not be a good day to trade.. If you aren’t disciplined you’ll just forget all that and try anyway.. That’s when you lose all your money.

I started with 200 dollars last month. I don't make big wins but i get good lessons about the psychology involved. Better train with real money imo. With paper you don't feel the real thing.

So true....Especially with options with about a week til exp....Don't use more than 15-20% of your account per trade n stop out any losing trades between 3-5% max of your account . Don't over trade. Little profits will add up n absorb any small losses. The cost of doing this business is losing trades. Keep em small n youll stay in the game.

You need a lot of money yes, I honestly believe you need a lot money to make a living, on a 100K account, you won't feel like you have to trade everyday. Small accounts hinder you from success, it brings greed and fear

We got this cool thing now called prop firms, I trade forex so I don’t know about the prop world for futures or stocks but it really opens the door to those big checks that might not have been achievable with your own cash

Not to mention if you’ve only got a few hundred bucks to trade with, if you really buckle down and get your strategy, risk management, and your mindset right you could just go get a funded account and trade with larger capital. It really doesn’t take much money to be a profitable day trader it’s just how you approach it

Yep, just started for real with 200 after 6month demo, currently waiting over 12 hours now for my BUY to clear after a massive drop on AUD(USD, patience is key, if you get bored find cause your margin is empty find something else to do, all Forex will clear eventually since it's a boxed trade

People just don't stick to their size and risk exposure reward system. It's absolutely necessary when you're brand new. Otherwise, you would rather start hedging your positions and having multiple positions open at a time.
