Wow!! You got Lennox tech support to answer the phone? That’s the most impressive part of this video.

Tech support as well as OEMs Manuals (if you can get an unabbridged version) are extremly valuable out in the Field. Especially when it comes to all things running on Software/Firmware. Worked out for me seversl times for undocumented or preproduction Firmware. Although I do CHP Stuff, I think this applies to all Field Techs. As a Sidenote, the new outro style is awesome.

Tech support is just another tool that smart techs utilize to make the job quicker and easier and in the end you learned something about the VFD that you can pass onto your crew and to us. Thanks so much Chris and have a great weekend.

I had a recent Lennox furnace with a modulating gas valve (2009) which was controlled by a pressure switch that was giving me fits. I got on Lennox tech support line and after an hour of waiting, I finally got a tech. He was knowledgeable and shared some info I didn't have to solve the problem. So, even though it was a long wait, it still proved to be time well spent.

Ngl, I'm happy to see you in the van more for the closing words. I love your home setup, but it is pretty cool. I'm willing to bet it's helping keep the van a bit more kosher, too, haha

The ot1 code info is in the Delta MS300 drive manual. Chapter 14 page 18 (14-18) and gives the causes table and parameters to adjust if needed. A lot of manufactures use common off the shelf components like VFD drives in their equipment.

Also on a different issue. If you run into a drive that has an overtemp fault indicated, see if it has a replaceable fan module on the top. The fans run all the time in most environments, get dirty and eventually quit working but the drive is still good. Changing the fan or fan module is quick and solves the issue and is a lot less costly than a new drive.

I like your content. You try everything to get the job done. I appreciate you taking the time to educate us on non-technical personnel. I have learned a lot from watching you.

Had to call tech support today! Samsung mini split in a server room 😅 just to verify my diagnosis and learn some more. Not a mini split guy.

I wear the HVAC/r hat at work 🤙 great videos

Nice video, Chris. I like the way you recorded in your van. it worked well and gets your thoughts recorded at the time saving you having to remember everything in the studio.

I'm not sure how much 'gatekeeping' there actually is because when I did a web search for 'delta ms300 vfd ot1 error' while I watched this video and I got a lot of results for this error straight away explaining that it was 'over torque'.

I would suggest having a few different search engines bookmarked on your phone so if your first search does not come back with anything you have a couple of different ones to try. Generally, using a different search engine gains a different set of results. A browser's built-in search engine is often quite limited, particularly on mobile devices.

I really like you doing the post analysis from your service van. I’ve been a very long time subscriber (when you had 4 or 5 videos on your channel) so it kind of reminds me of the good ole days when you used to do that. As far as your merch goes, I thought paying $36 for a ball cap at first was a little steep but after receiving it, I could tell it was high quality & it is definitely worth the price. I will be ordering another one soon, one for wearing around town & one for my place of employment. Might have to get a sticker or two for my toolbox as well. Thanks for making these awesome videos. My knowledge has grown tremendously by watching them!
