Canada, US to battle in women’s hockey amid anthem booing

The puck is set to drop in one of the biggest rivalries in sports this week, as the Canadian and American women’s hockey teams face off.

It comes as tensions sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat of tariffs have spilled into professional sports.

Fans have been caught on camera booing the singing of the American national anthem, as they loudly voice their displeasure with his administration’s actions against Canada.

Booing the other teams National Anthem is an over the top display of Poor Sportsmanship by the Fans that automatically drags our Athletes down to that same level regardless of what their actual Political stance is. They’ve always been taught that there are “No Politics in Sports- Just Athletes!” Don’t wreck it, Fans- just enjoy the dang Hockey!💞🇨🇦🇺🇸💞
